Econ Explorers

Econ Explorers is a field trip program for Junior College and college students to experience economics in action. Students visit businesses, banks, or government agencies to observe real-world economic activities and learn from professionals. The program helps them better understand and apply economic concepts in practice.

White Elephant Bazaar

The UA&P White Elephant Sale is a University-wide Christmas project where student organizations sell pre-loved items in their own white elephant sales. Part of the proceeds support the organizations' activities, while the rest is used to purchase essential goods for orphanages.

The Dragon's Mentis Cup

The Dragon's Mentis Cup is a three-day, University-wide intellectual competition that runs alongside the Unitas Games, offering another avenue for students to showcase their talents. Through events such as debates, case competitions, quiz bees, and creative contests, this event highlights excellence in critical thinking and creativity.

After her first successful year in the Business Economics Association, Zela stepped up to serve as the Human Resources Officer for her home organization. As an HR officer, she successfully managed multiple events within the organization, including SEC Month, SECruitment, IEPeer, The Ewer Awards, and SEC Night.

2024 - 2026

As a passionate server, Zela wanted to excel in her event-planning skills in her first year at UA&P, and she was able to do so when she joined the Project Management Team. She was given the opportunity to contribute to multiple University-wide events such as: The Unitas Games 2025, UA&P Fair 2025, The Unitas Awards 2024/2025, UA&P Community Christmas Get Together 2025, and Pep Rally 2025. Although she is only in her second year in PMT, she has already grown and accelerated her skills, preparing herself to serve the University Student Government next.

Block Representative

2024 - 2026

Zela began her leadership journey in UA&P when she was elected as a block representative. In this role, she served as the bridge between her professors and blockmates, ensuring clear communication and coordination throughout the year. She also took on the responsibility of Program Head for SportsFest 2025. Through these experiences, she not only strengthened her leadership skills but also created meaningful memories with her block while serving them with dedication.

Zela was invited to join the University Student Government, specifically the Office of the Secretary, at the beginning of her second year in University of Asia and the Pacific as an Executive Board member. She served as the Project Management Associate, supporting the planning and execution of projects under the office. She assisted in creating publication materials and monitoring smooth coordination within the team. Through this role, she strengthened her organizational and communication skills. Her experience deepened her commitment to serving the student body with responsibility and integrity.

Citadel, Aureum, and Odyssey Member

Alongside Zela's leadership and passion to serve, she is also a dedicated UA&P student who proudly represents her school in every competition she joins. Recruited as a member of Aureum and Odyssey in 2024, she was recently welcomed into Citadel as a Marketing member. She has earned multiple achievements, including being a Global Round qualifier at The World Scholars Cup 2024, placing 9th overall in The Australasia Public Speaking Competition, and securing 1st Runner-Up with Odyssey at MarkED 360, 2025 held in UP. In every stage she steps on, Zela carries not only her own aspirations, but the pride of UA&P with her.
